In Motion Rail Scale .

In Motion Rail Scale is the evolution of wagon weighing systems. With its efficient design, it makes weighing on railways faster, more accurate and safer, providing the rail user with time savings in loading and unloading operations
MASSA has two basic models of railway scales: SIMM Ferroviário and SIMM CARGO, both operating in the accuracy classes 1.0, 0.5 and 0.2 of the OIML-R106 recommendation.

Information and Measurement System of MASSA SIMM

The system is based on instrumented tracks with digital load cells, on which each axle of the wagon is individually weighed. Mounted directly on the ballast or reinforced concrete slab, these rails make the weighing data available remotely to the weighing server through a TCP / IP network. In the operating room, the indicator is the operator interface for the control and monitoring of weighings using the SIMMSOFT (version 7) operating software, based on the Microsoft Windows ™ platform. This application processes the weighing data obtained from each load cell and makes the final indication of the weight of each wagon available to the operator.

SIMMSOFT, based on the input data informed by the operator, performs each weighing automatically (according to the project), either Tare or Gross. In addition to presenting the individual weight of the wagon and train, it also provides axle weight, bogies and load distribution by quadrants, which allows the railway operator to identify possible accident risks and the opportunity to reduce track maintenance. permanent. The total transported average and the calculated standard deviation are other important data that the software makes available to allow the optimization of processes and use of the railway modal.

Model Features

Available in accuracy classes 1% (SIMM S-10), 0.5% (SIMM S-05) and 0.2% (SIMM S-02). We present its main characteristics in the table below:

Scale applications scale

SIMM operates in two ways: tare and gross weighing carried out by a single scale or by two scales simultaneously. In ore loading situations, for example, this last configuration allows the least possible impact on the operation by introducing a weighing process that does not require significant changes in the production line, such as additional maneuvering of the wagons. In this case, a scale is installed before loading, using silos or loaders, for weighing Tara and a scale afterwards for weighing Bruto. In addition, SIMM, when applied individually, is the appropriate option for controlling the entry or exit of goods in railway yards of steel mills, ports, agribusiness and logistics companies.

WITH STOP AND RECOVERY MANEUVERS. This product has strong application adhesion in ore and agribusiness transfer terminals (grains, fertilizers and liquid transport)

In Motion Rail Scale SIMM S-02
