It passes through the state of Mato Grosso do Sul, in the cities of Mundo Novo, Eldorado, Iguatemi, Amambai, Caarap\u00f3, Dourados, Itapor\u00e3 and Maracaju. Car\u00e1ter Sustent\u00e1vel da Nova Estrada de Ferro Paran\u00e1 Oeste Contando com diversas alternativas como 10 t\u00faneis, 25 viadutos e 4 pontes, o projeto da Nova Estrada de Ferro Paran\u00e1 consiste tamb\u00e9m em ser sustent\u00e1vel, e isso em todos os sentidos do projeto, seja na constru\u00e7\u00e3o ou continua\u00e7\u00e3o das malhas ferrovi\u00e1rias. Na lista de produtos que ser\u00e3o transportados pela Nova Estrada de Ferro Paran\u00e1 est\u00e3o a soja, o milho, trigo, a\u00e7\u00facar, \u00f3leo, carnes, adubos, fertilizantes e combust\u00edveis. Tudo isso est\u00e1 de acordo com um planejamento feito nesse ano e que pretende ampliar cada vez mais o acesso a transporte por ferrovia dentro do pa\u00eds, e poder finalmente fazer com que esses produtos n\u00e3o dependam mais do setor rodovi\u00e1rio, que est\u00e1 atingindo seu limite para o transporte devido de carga. Dentre eles, est\u00e3o a nova postura do Estado com rela\u00e7\u00e3o ao financiamento e controle do transporte de cargas por ferrovia no Brasil.
