The idea of creating this railroad came up in 1985, under the government of President Jos\u00e9 Sarney. In its first forecasts, it was estimated that the railroad would be about 1550 km long, and its route would encompass several cities and states, starting from the city of A\u00e7ail\u00e2ndia (MA) and arriving at <a href=\"https:\/\/pt.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/An%C3%A1polis\">An\u00e1polis<\/a> (GO).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Since the beginning of the project, several revisions and new projections have been outlined, but the decision to build the Norte Sul Railroad has always been maintained, even with the constant political changes in the country. The first works carried out for the construction of this railroad started two years after the creation of the project, in 1987. Another part of the line has almost all the works completed, while four of them go through the study and planning phases. It is part of a specific division where there are three main sections, one of which is one.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The A\u00e7ail\u00e2ndia (MA) - Porto Nacional (TO) section is the first part of this railroad that had its sub-concession granted through an auction held in 2007. It is also the first section in operation of the Norte Sul Railroad that continues to operate and operate until the nowadays.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Currently, this part of the railroad is about 720 km long and passes through several cities in the states of Mato Grosso and Tocantins. At the time of the auction, the stretch A\u00e7ail\u00e2ndia - Porto Nacional had not yet been fully concluded, which has been happening over the years. The central section and the southern section of the Norte Sul Railroad encompass a long track of the track, about 1,537 km long, with the division made as follows: Central Section - Porto Nacional (TO) to An\u00e1polis (GO), with 855 km long and South Section - Ouro Verde de Goi\u00e1s (GO) - Estrela d'Oeste (SP), with 682 km long.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Both stretches were awarded to the company RUMO in a historic auction that took place in 2019, the first auction of the line in 10 years, since what happened in 2007 when VALE bought the northern section of the Norte Sul Railroad. RUMO logistics is currently the main railroad investment company, with approximately 13 thousand km of railroad line, just under half of the totality of the entire Brazilian railroad network, which currently has a mileage of around 29 thousand km.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The auction that took place last year was a dispute between the company and VLI logistics, with the winning bid in the amount of R $ 2.719 billion. This concession is very important for the company, as it will allow a series of connections with other lines with concessions owned by RUMO.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Central Section of the line, which covers the city of Porto Nacional (TO) and ends the section in An\u00e1polis (GO), has its entire extension completed and in operation, and is responsible for the transport of small volumes of cargo, according to the Federal Government Investment Partnership Program. The southern section, until the time of obtaining the concession, had about 95% of the works completed, and is not yet in operation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>According to the government's PPI, the concession was granted for the next 30 years to the company RUMO, and the projection is that by the year 2050 around 22 million cargoes will be handled within the line, with an investment planned in the R$ 2.724 billion. This entire route is fundamental for the expansion of the transfer and for greater possibilities of product outlets, mainly agricultural, to different regions of the country. Precisely for this reason, the company <a href=\"https:\/\/massa.ind.br\/en\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">MASSA<\/a> has already positioned its railroad scale on the Norte Sul Railroad, more precisely in the city of Goi\u00e1s, in one of the most important sections of the road. This is a scale of movement, that is, it allows the weighing of the wagons and the train to be done even with it in motion, with 99.8% efficiency. A conclus\u00e3o das primeiras obras foram efetuadas apenas nove anos depois, em 1996, quando a ferrovia passou a efetuar suas primeiras opera\u00e7\u00f5es. Divis\u00e3o da ferrovia norte sul Como \u00e9 uma das principais ferrovias do pa\u00eds, se n\u00e3o a principal, a extens\u00e3o da Ferrovia Norte Sul, j\u00e1 constru\u00edda e tamb\u00e9m a parte em proje\u00e7\u00e3o, \u00e9 dividida em diversos trechos, administrados por diferentes empresas log\u00edsticas que obtiveram as subconcess\u00f5es de partes da linhas por leil\u00f5es efetuados ao longo dos anos. Segundo dados da empresa VALEC, uma das principais empresas estatais que trabalha na constru\u00e7\u00e3o de ferrovias e elabora\u00e7\u00e3o de projetos ferrovi\u00e1rios, a extens\u00e3o total da Ferrovia Norte Sul pode ser dividida em sete trechos, sendo que apenas dois deles est\u00e3o em opera\u00e7\u00e3o no momento. Outra parte da linha est\u00e1 com quase a totalidade das obras conclu\u00eddas, enquanto que quatro delas passam pelas fases de estudo e planejamento. A seguir mostraremos para voc\u00eas quais s\u00e3o os principais pontos da divis\u00e3o, por quem eles s\u00e3o administrados, quais os investimentos e muito mais. Trecho A\u00e7ail\u00e2ndia (MA) \u2013 Porto Nacional (TO) O trecho do extremo norte do pa\u00eds da Ferrovia Norte Sul \u00e9 tamb\u00e9m chamado de Tramo Norte. Ele faz parte de uma divis\u00e3o espec\u00edfica onde existem tr\u00eas tramos principais, sendo esse um deles.&nbsp; O trecho A\u00e7ail\u00e2ndia (MA) \u2013 Porto Nacional (TO) \u00e9 a primeira parte dessa ferrovia que teve sua subconcess\u00e3o concedida atrav\u00e9s de um leil\u00e3o realizado em 2007. Ele tamb\u00e9m \u00e9 o primeiro trecho em opera\u00e7\u00e3o da Ferrovia Norte Sul que segue funcionando e operando at\u00e9 os dias de hoje. Atualmente, essa parte da ferrovia possui cerca de&nbsp; 720 km e passa por diversas cidade dos estados do Mato Grosso e Tocantins. Na \u00e9poca do leil\u00e3o, o trecho A\u00e7ail\u00e2ndia &#8211; Porto Nacional ainda n\u00e3o havia sido totalmente conclu\u00eddo, o que foi acontecendo ao longo dos anos. Nesse ano, a empresa VALE S.A arrematou o leil\u00e3o da subconcess\u00e3o da via por R$ 1,478 bilh\u00e3o, sendo que posteriormente ela criaria um setor espec\u00edfico para a administra\u00e7\u00e3o da via, a chamada Ferrovia Norte Sul S.A, controlada pelo setor de log\u00edstica da empresa, a VLI (Valor Log\u00edstico Integrado). Tramo Central e Tramo Sul Como dissemos, a divis\u00e3o da via tem como os principais alicerces tr\u00eas tramos. O tramo central e o tramo sul da Ferrovia Norte Sul englobam um longo trajeto da via, com cerca de 1.537 km de extens\u00e3o, com a divis\u00e3o feita da seguinte maneira: Tramo Central &#8211; Porto Nacional (TO) at\u00e9 An\u00e1polis (GO), com 855 km de extens\u00e3o e Tramo Sul &#8211; Ouro Verde de Goi\u00e1s (GO) \u2013 Estrela d\u2019Oeste (SP), com 682 km de extens\u00e3o.&nbsp; Ambos os trechos foram concedidos \u00e0 empresa RUMO em um leil\u00e3o hist\u00f3rico ocorrido no ano de 2019, primeiro leil\u00e3o da linha em 10 anos, desde o ocorrido em 2007 quando a VALE arrematou o tramo norte da Ferrovia Norte Sul. A RUMO log\u00edstica \u00e9 atualmente a principal empresa investidora em ferrovias, com cerca de 13 mil km de extens\u00e3o de linha ferrovi\u00e1ria, pouco menos da metade da totalidade de toda a malha ferrovi\u00e1ria brasileira, que atualmente possui uma quilometragem na casa dos 29 mil km. O leil\u00e3o ocorrido no ano passado foi uma disputa entre a empresa e a VLI log\u00edstica, sendo o lance vitorioso no valor de R$ 2,719 bilh\u00f5es. Essa concess\u00e3o \u00e9 muito importante para a empresa, j\u00e1 que permitir\u00e1 uma s\u00e9rie de conex\u00f5es com outras linhas com concess\u00f5es possu\u00eddas pela RUMO. O Tramo Central da linha, que abrange a cidade de Porto Nacional (TO) e finaliza o trecho em An\u00e1polis (GO), tem toda sua extens\u00e3o conclu\u00edda e em funcionamento, e \u00e9 respons\u00e1vel pela transporta\u00e7\u00e3o de pequenos volumes de cargas, de acordo com&nbsp; a Programa de Parcerias de Investimentos do Governo Federal. J\u00e1 o tramo sul, at\u00e9 o momento da obten\u00e7\u00e3o da concess\u00e3o, possu\u00eda cerca de 95% das obras conclu\u00eddas, n\u00e3o estando em atividade ainda. Segundo a PPI do governo, a concess\u00e3o foi cedida pelos pr\u00f3ximos 30 anos para a empresa RUMO, e a proje\u00e7\u00e3o \u00e9 de que at\u00e9 o ano de 2050 sejam movimentadas cerca de 22 milh\u00f5es de cargas dentro da linha, com um investimento previsto na casa dos R$2,724 bilh\u00f5es. Todo esse trajeto \u00e9 fundamental para a expans\u00e3o do traslado e para maiores possibilidades de escoamentos de produtos, principalmente agr\u00edcolas, para diversas regi\u00f5es do pa\u00eds. O trecho sul que tem como trajeto principal as cidades de Goi\u00e1s (GO) at\u00e9 Estrela d\u2019Oeste (SP) \u00e9 de suma import\u00e2ncia para a empresa, em especial porque a linha que sai da cidade paulistana e chega at\u00e9 o portu\u00e1rio Santista tamb\u00e9m \u00e9 de dom\u00ednio da empresa RUMO. Demais trechos da ferrovia norte sul Para finalizar essa composi\u00e7\u00e3o, existem mais quatro trechos principais, sendo que todos ainda est\u00e3o em fases de estudo e planejamento. S\u00e3o esses os trechos: Barcarena (PA) &#8211; A\u00e7ail\u00e2ndia (MA), 477 km de extens\u00e3o; Estrela d\u2019Oeste (SP) \u2013 Panorama (SP), 264 km de extens\u00e3o; Panorama (SP) \u2013 Chapec\u00f3 (SC), 950,8 km de extens\u00e3o; Chapec\u00f3 (SC) \u2013 Rio Grande (RS), 832,9 km de extens\u00e3o.
